About InterfaceNeuro

InterfaceNeuro is a conference partnership between the Rice Neuroengineering Initiative and the Institute for Neuroscience, Neurotechnology, and Society Institute at the Georgia Institute of Technology. It brings together experts in neuroscience, neuroengineering, clinical/translational research, the neurotech industry, and individuals with lived experiences. A curated program of presentations, discussions, research posters, and time for informal conversation will foster knowledge exchange, catalyze new research collaborations, and ensure that research, development, and translation activities are patient-centered and aligned with societal needs.

Join us for InterfaceNeuro from May 19-20, 2026, at the Bioscience Research Collaborative adjacent to the Rice University campus and across from the Texas Medical Center as the conference returns to Houston for discussions on topics ranging from Neuro AI, Neuro BCI, Advancements in Brain Cancer Neuroengineering, to in-depth panels on Alzheimer’s and Dementia research and the “state of the union” discussion on neuroscience and engineering training programs in academia. A low-cost, two-day event, InterfaceNeuro encourages participation from young investigators, trainees, and graduate students through poster sessions and networking events.
